I am not a scientist, and I don't play one on TV, but you will never see as big of a catastrophic occurrence with solar as you are right now with the BP oil spill. It was released in October 2009 that BP had 428 willful OSHEA violations that cost them in the vicinity of $87 million. The largest willful violation was in 2005 for $21 million. Now, in comparison Exxon had 1 and Sunoco had 4. BP had 428. Crazy. What I am saying is we need to make a push to direct some of the subsidies that BP was getting into the alternative energy field. At lease incentivize the lenders of alternative energies.
