From the clients

What the people who hired us said afterward.

Building owners, churches, and schools across Arizona and California — in their own words.

SunRenu handled every step — engineering, permitting, the install, and the utility paperwork. We never had to coordinate between subs because there were no subs. The system has produced above spec since day one.

Norm

Building Owner · Las Ramblas Viejo

The financing structure they walked us through made the difference. As a tax-exempt entity we couldn't use the federal credit directly, so an SSA was the obvious route. Below-utility rates from month one.

Palm Valley Church

We were referred to SunRenu after a different installer went out of business. SunRenu cleaned it, re-commissioned it, and now we have monthly production as originally expected.

Frequently asked

The questions every commercial buyer asks us first.

  • What size commercial projects do you build?
We've installed systems from 13 kW (small church) to 8 MW (school districts, large industrial) and everything in between. The economic sweet spot for SunRenu's process is typically 100 kW and up, but we'll take an honest look at any commercial project — including portfolios of smaller sites.
  • Do you do residential solar?
No. We specialize exclusively in commercial — including non-profits, churches, municipalities, and corporate facilities. Residential solar is a different operations model and we don't pretend otherwise.
  • How long does a typical commercial install take?
From signed contract to active production, expect 4–8 months on average. Engineering and permitting take 2–4 months; install itself is 4–10 weeks depending on size and complexity; utility interconnection adds a tail of weeks. Larger projects (1 MW+) trend longer. We build a real schedule into our proposal so you can sequence around it.
  • Can a non-profit or school benefit if we don't pay federal tax?
Yes. Tax-exempt entities use Solar Services Agreements (SSAs) — a third party owns the system, captures the federal investment tax credit, and sells you the power at a below-utility rate. Zero capital outlay, immediate energy savings. We work with multiple SSA partners and shop the proposal.
  • What happens after the install — do you maintain the system?
Yes. SunRenu's Operations & Maintenance program covers monitoring, periodic cleaning, electrical inspections, and rapid-response repairs. We can take over O&M on systems we didn't install too — onboarding starts with a baseline thermal scan and documentation audit.
  • Where do you operate?
We are headquartered in Arizona and licensed in both AZ (ROC) and CA (CSLB #1076679). We have crews based in Phoenix, Tucson, and across Southern and Northern California. For projects outside AZ and CA, reach out — we evaluate every request.
